LLB course in India

The LLB is a three-year Bachelor of Legislative Law programme offered to all students who hold an undergraduate degree. This programme develops the student’s knowledge about the Indian Jurisprudence System, Indian Justice System and Constitution of India, and many different aspects of the Indian Justice System.

This course aims to improve student’s abilities in logical reasoning, critical thinking, and independent judgment. Throughout the course, students will learn about many different concepts related to Criminal Law, Civil Law, Constitutional Law, Contracts and Legal Drafting.Students also have the opportunity to participate in many different practical and experiential activities including, but not limited to, Moose Courts and Case Studies.

Through the LLB programme, students will become responsible leaders and develop an understanding of the Legal System and how it will impact their lives; they will also be able to obtain jobs as Attorneys, Counsel, Judges, and/or give Legal Counsel to others. The training received during the LLB programme will enable students to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in a competitive and fast-paced job market.
